I had a specially exciting day on Friday. The weather was gorgeous and a friend of mine who has a pilot's licence took me flying. The plane was tiny, only a two-seater. I was a bit nervous at first but soon found it just amazing. We flew from Coltishall (north of Norwich) up to the coast and then along to Blakeney Point. Then inland over Holkham Hall and Blickling Hall. I want to go again now!

Sharon,I note that you enjoyed your Easter Friday. Really, it is out of this world to look at a city from the sky . So, how long has your friend had his pilot's licence? Do you know where he learnt to fly? I ask about it, because I would be nerveous in a tiny plane if I didn't know about pilot's experience .

You flew from Coltishall up to the coast and then along to Blakeney Point. Then inland over Holkham Hall and Blicking Hall. So, was it the first time you have flown in such a small plane? How long did you spend flying? How many flights have you done?

I don't know exactly how long my friend has had his licence but he told me that he has 100 hours of flying experience. I think he learnt to fly at Coltishall with the Norwich Flying Club. I trust him so I thought he would do vrything correctly. It was the first time I had ever flown in such a small plane and we spent about one hour in the air. I would like to go again and fly south this time. I'll let you know what happens!
